Philadelphia was wonderful, well at least catching up with Jen was. We had long discussions about men, marriage, babies, future - the rambly kind you have with your best girlfriends who already know you and know your heart. It definetely made me realize how much I miss my college friends. Friday night highlights include: swimming on the streets of Philly, 4 free margaritas (awesome waitress), and free food courtesy of the Marriot. Saturday was work. 'Nuff said.

In honor of Chris's return, I feel like perhaps I should post again too. I leave for Philadelphia today - hopefully to drink much Hoegaarten - and then return only briefly before leaving for WYD. Expect a WYD journal to be posted either while I am gone or immediately on my return.

I apparently last blogged on March 28, truly amazing how almost two months can go by. A lot has happened. Much good, some bad. The most important one for you all, my now defunct public I imagine, is that I just got a new laptop and once I have a free evening (I don't remember what these are anymore) I will be setting it up and will promise to commit more time to sharing with you all. Read Chris's blog for an account of last night. I chimed in on the comments. Lazy, I know. You all will forgive me I am sure.

Apparently God is a virus and a hoax. Perhaps it's just the idea of a French speaking God? I am being heretical and cynical. Sunday we can say God is alive, hallejuiah and I shall rejoice.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Do you remember the wonka elevator from the book or movie? I RODE on it. It was so cool. We went sideways and up at the same time. Very bizarre. You too could enjoy the ride, hop on a metro elevator (clear glass platform) and start to go up just as a train is entering or leaving the station. It's all sorts of butterflies in your tummy. Much cooler than the mac truck driving backwards sensation at toll booths.
